With the coming Windows 10 launch, Microsoft is saying that a number of titles that will arrive on both the PC and the Xbox One will include the feature, although no full list has been offered. It might be possible to get cross-platform play into the Call of Duty series at a later date, especially if the fan base asks for it and the involved companies can make sure that there are no differences in performance across devices. The information comes from Twitter as an answer to a fan question, and it is clear that the companies have other priorities at the moment. Video game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are aiming to deliver a big list of changes for the coming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, but it seems that they have no plans to take advantage of the new cross-platform play options between the various platforms on which the title will be offered.
